Becoming a Patient in Wisconsin
If you are an individual who has been diagnosed with a seizure disorder, you may be eligible to become a cannabis patient in Wisconsin. This is the only condition which qualifies an individual for cannabis use in the state. There is no application process to become a patient under AB 726. A physician's written recommendation is all that is necessary for a patient to be legally allowed to possess and administer CBD products under AB 726; however, there is not a clear way for patients to obtain such products.
Becoming a Patient as a Minor:
The process and qualifications for becoming a patient as a minor in Wisconsin are the same as those for an adult.
Benefits of Being a Patient:
As a registered patient in Wisconsin you will have an affirmative defense in court if you are arrested for the possession of cannabis.
Becoming a Caregiver:
There are no legal protections for caregivers in the state of Wisconsin.
Out of State Patients:
