Election 2026: Medical Cannabis Is on Every Federal Ballot. Make it Count!

Across the country, millions of Americans—including seniors, veterans, children with severe autism and epilepsy, and people living with rare diseases, chronic pain, or undergoing cancer treatment—rely on cannabinoid medicines, often when conventional treatments have failed, or pharmaceutical options carry unacceptable risks. They report improved quality of life, reduced pain, better sleep, enhanced mood, and increased mobility with manageable side effects. Yet they continue to face stigma and discrimination because federal law affords them no clear rights or protections.

These Americans, their families, their healthcare providers, and the millions more who will remain without access until federal laws change need election officials who will champion their interests in Washington, D.C.

A Compassionate Candidate publicly pledges to sponsor comprehensive legislation to create a national medical cannabis program. They commit to mobilizing colleagues, using congressional platforms to champion integration into the U.S. healthcare system, and exercising oversight authority to ensure that federal agencies implement and enforce meaningful patient protections.

The next Congress will determine whether medical cannabis policy advances to finally integrate into U.S. healthcare, or languishes through systematic dismantling.

Comprehensive reform is possible, but only if the next Congress arrives in Washington with the understanding that championing patient access is not optional; it is a job requirement.

Help us send a clear message to those running for federal office:  "I vote for compassionate candidates." Sign the petition, now!

This November, my votes for the 120th Congress will go to leaders who defend patients’ rights and work to integrate cannabis medicines into the U.S. healthcare system—ensuring access and dignity for all Americans, regardless of where they live, work, or receive care.

Election 2026, I will vote for candidates who publicly pledge to establish a national medical cannabis program by advancing comprehensive federal legislation and using their office to secure meaningful patient protections.

I Vote for Compassionate Candidates.
