Medical cannabis is legal at the federal level in nearly 50 countries. Although medical cannabis is legal in 38 states, the District of Columbia, and four U.S. territories, it is still illegal at the federal level, causing barriers to access and injustices to patients across the country. With over 5 million Americans registered cannabis patients, it's time for federal medical cannabis legislation. Help us demand Congressional action for medical cannabis patients by signing your name to the petition below:

We, the undersigned, urge the Congress of the United States to enact federal laws that formally recognize cannabis as a vital medicine and create a national access program that creates safe access nationwide.

Cannabis therapeutics offer relief to millions of Americans, yet federal regulations hinder its integration into mainstream healthcare. It's time for Congress to shape policies grounded in scientific evidence and compassion.

We call on Congress to create a national medical cannabis program, direct all federal agencies to recognize medical cannabis use as a legitimate medicine, update federal policies accordingly, create a new Schedule (Schedule VI) for cannabis, and create an Office of Medical Cannabis and Cannabinoid Control to oversee these actions.

By embracing federal recognition of cannabis as medicine, Congress can significantly enhance the quality of life of numerous Americans. We urge Congress to act swiftly and compassionately to reform outdated laws and unlock the full potential of cannabis as a legitimate medical treatment.
