If allowed to speak to Senator or Aid
Thank you (I'd like to thank the Senator) for voting yes on Senate Bill 33 back in May. I'm hoping that I can continue to count on your (the Senator’s) support to add PTSD as a qualifying condition for medical cannabis?
That is great. Thank you so much for representing patients, especially our Veterans, with PTSD.
As a constituent (and a Veteran)(and a person suffering from PTSD), I support allowing pateints suffering from PTSD access to medical cannabis because…(BRIEFLY state why it is important to you.) Can I send you (the Senator) more information?
Can you tell me why you are (the Senator is) stopped supporting this addition? (Listen to their response, take notes, don't engage in an argument) As a constituent (and a Veteran)(and a person suffering from PTSD), I support adding PTSD because…(BRIEFLY state why it is important to you.) Can I send you (the Senator) more information?
Once the call is complete, please take a moment to fill out our feedback survey. This information is vitally important. It will help us know how to best target our advocacy efforts on behalf of Illinois patients!
