Building a Movement
http://www.safeaccessnow.org/training_building_a_movement

While it is true that a few individuals can accomplish a lot, it will take a strong, vibrant movement for us to achieve our ultimate goal - safe and legal access for all Americans. If your city or county is banning medical cannabis activity, you need to start a local voter and stakeholder-based movement to push back. This section will give you the tools you need to build a strong movement that will help you reach your political goals -  including outreach and recruitment, volunteer and headship development, coalition building, and ASA resources to help.

Take Action

ACTION ALERTS

Call your Members of Congress to Support the CARERS Act! (National)
http://www.safeaccessnow.org/carers_calling

The CARERS Act is the most comprehensive piece of federal medical marijuana legislation ever introduced in both the U.S. House and Senate. The bill would allow state programs to continue without federal interference, move marijuana out of Schedule I, remove CBD from the scheduling, create access to banking services for legal marijuana businesses, eliminate the Public Health service review process and NIDA monopoly that block research, and allow Veterans Affairs doctors to write recommendations in states that have a medical marijuana program. Please call your two Senators and your member of Congress today to ask for their support.
