The Community Catalyst Award highlights a company or organization that brought patients, families, healthcare providers, educators, businesses, researchers, public officials, or other stakeholders together around a cannabis safety need. Strong nominees do more than raise awareness: they build partnerships that solve problems, share expertise, reach new audiences, or create lasting community infrastructure.
Cannabis Safety Month is intentionally designed as a collaborative campaign because cannabis safety cannot be addressed by any single institution or sector. Product safety, healthcare access, youth education, impaired driving, consumer protection, professional training, and other concerns require participation from people who do not always work together.
The future of medical cannabis will depend on stronger bridges between patients, healthcare systems, government, industry, researchers, and communities.
