Realm of Caring Foundation has spent more than a decade helping individuals and families navigate cannabinoid therapy when formal guidance is limited, conflicting, or difficult to find. Since 2013, the nonprofit reports serving more than 100,000 people through free education, one-on-one support, research participation, and evidence-informed resources.

Its education responds to the questions patients often face after deciding to consider cannabis: how to start with a low amount, how quickly to adjust, how to read a Certificate of Analysis, how to evaluate product quality, how to track symptoms and outcomes, and how to recognize potential adverse effects or drug interactions.

Realm of Caring also connects public education with longitudinal research on real-world cannabinoid use. That allows recurring patient questions and experiences to inform educational resources while giving research programs a closer view of how people actually use products outside controlled trials.

The organization’s model is especially valuable for families navigating complex medical situations with little support from their existing healthcare system. Individualized guidance can help them identify what they know, what they still need to ask, and when to bring a clinician or pharmacist into the conversation.

Realm of Caring Foundation reflects the Safety Signal Award by turning years of direct patient support and research participation into practical, nonjudgmental education that helps people recognize risk and make more informed cannabinoid decisions.
