There is currently a raid in progress in Humboldt County, CA. A large convey and at least one helicopter are present in the Bald Hills Rd. area of Klamath River basin. Agencies include Yurok Tribal police, Humboldt County Sheriffs office, Department of Fish and Wildlife and several unmarked vehicles. Neighbors in Bald Hills Rd. area should be aware of increased traffic on the road and stay tuned to KMUD radio and live coverage found here: Humboldt Count Raid Coverage.
If you would like to report any activity please contact Kristin Nevedal or Kym Kemp, who will be reporting on the situation throughout the day at [email protected].
We are also requesting community members gather at Express and More in Willow Creek to discuss observing law enforcement action. We need peaceful protesters and observers to record the facts, take pictures, and shoot video. Please do not attempt to interfere with law enforcement on the scene.
It is very important to the victims of a raid to know that there are people outside looking out for them. We also know that law enforcement behaves better when the public is watching. Email [email protected] or call (707) 498-9877 with news about any arrests or misconduct by law enforcement.
Please share this message and help if you can!
