On February 16, the Virginia Senate passed SB701 by a vote of 37 to 2. This bill would allow for the production and manufacturing of cannabidiol (CBD) oil and THC-A. This was a big step to ensuring safe access for patients and their caregivers, and now we need your help to get this passed in the House of Delegates.

SB701, if passed would be a major step for these patients to have safe and reliable access to this treatment.  It would require the Board of Pharmacy to develop and then implement detailed guidelines for responsible and tightly controlled production and distribution of these oils.
