House Bill 4142 needs immediate action.
This bill would allow patients in residential, palliative care facilities to access medical cannabis therapeutics as part of their end-of-life care. Right now, too many patients lose access upon entering these facilities. HB 4142 fixes that.
The bill has cleared the necessary committees. Tomorrow, Senator Floyd Prozanski will meet with Senate Democrats to determine whether there is enough support to move it to a floor vote.
