Let Congress Know We're Watching

Last month you helped us accomplish our biggest victory yet, when the U.S. House of Representatives voted 219 to 189 to cut off funding for federal medical cannabis raids, arrests, and prosecutions in states where it is legal.  This vote was a major milestone in changing federal law, but we are not done yet and we need your help.

Over the past few days ASA has been running television ads on MSNBC in both Maryland and South Florida to draw attention to Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD) and DNC Chair, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) who opposed the recent CJS Medical Marijuana Amendment in the House.

We are closer than ever to passing reform in Congress and now is the time to make our voices heard. Despite our historic event last month, the same CJS amendment must still be approved by the Senate. Senators need to know that voters are watching. That is where you come in.

Can you help us make and broadcast new ads, including ones for your state? Help us raise money to place ads in your district! It's takes $1,000 to produce and place ad's on National networks. Donate today and help us raise funds to put together votemedicalmarijuana.org ad's in your District.

Democracy is not a spectator sport, it requires your engagement. With your support we can continue to put the heat on Congress and let them know that they will be held accountable for their votes.

We have already had major success with our first round of ads.  From being featured in the Miami Herald to the DNC issuing a statement  distancing themselves from Rep. Wasserman Schultz opposition to the Florida ballot measure.

Help us continue to grow on this momentum. Together we are truly making a difference.
