Position Description:
Digital Campaigns/Social Media Intern/Fellow Interns at Americans for Safe Access (ASA) assist in creating, curating, and managing content across ASA’s social media channels. This includes developing digital campaign strategies, monitoring engagement metrics, producing graphics and video content, and assisting with email marketing efforts. Interns will also help track and analyze the success of digital campaigns, adjusting strategies to optimize engagement and reach.
This internship is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to gain experience in digital marketing, social media management, and online advocacy within a nonprofit organization. ASA gives interns, fellows, and volunteers priority for staff positions.

Qualifications:
- Passion for ASA’s mission and goals
- Experience or interest in social media marketing, digital campaigns, or online advocacy
- Experience with medical cannabis patients a plus
- Strong written communication and creativity in developing content
- Familiarity with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Proficient in graphic design tools such as Canva; knowledge of video editing a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Sense of humor a must
- Flexible schedule, with availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 hours per week for eight weeks (greater availability facilitates more substantive internship opportunities).
- Access to a computer and the ability to make voice calls
