ASA Affiliates are organizations working on state specific medical cannabis issues in a geographical area that is not covered by an ASA chapter or works with the local chapter to further ASA mission. ASA Affiliates agree to work on ASA national campaigns as well as state-wide initiatives.
ASA Affiliates must sign an affiliate agreement, designate a member to attend monthly organizing calls, agree to donate $50/month or one time annual donations of $500 or agree hold an annual fundraiser that raises $500 or more, are encourage to add ASA as an admin/manager to social media accounts, and must note their affiliation with ASA on their website.
ASA Affiliates are given free ASA memberships for their members, participate in monthly organizing calls with ASA’s national network, can request time with ASA senior staff for advice on legislation or other state-wide/local issues, are listed on ASA advocacy page of the ASA website including contact information and public meeting details, can provide updates in ASA monthly Newsletter, and can request support from ASA to promote events and actions through ASA’s social media channels and email lists.
