Becoming a Patient in Mariana Islands
Benefits of Being a Patient:
As a registered patient in the Mariana Islands you will have an affirmative defense in court if you are arrested for the possession of cannabis
Out of State Patients:
The Mariana Islands recognize patient registrations from other states and territories. For more information about traveling as a medical cannabis patient, check out our Travel Guide.
If you are 21 years of age or older in the CNMI, you may apply for the "Homegrown Marijuana Registry" which allows you to grow up to six mature plants and twelve immature plants at home. A patent can double this limit under a single licence if their physician deems it necessary. The application is available here.
