Help our Medical Cannabis Prisoners!

Terry_and_Husband.jpgI am writing to ask you to do something special for my husband, Jerry Duval, and the other victims of the federal attack on medical cannabis. Will you take a minute to help?

Like more than one hundred Americans, my husband is serving time for a medical cannabis crime in federal prison. He was prosecuted under federal law, which means he was not allowed to talk about his medical use of cannabis or his motives at his trial. Jerry and the other victims of federal medical cannabis prosecution have given up their freedom to help suffering patients. But there is something you can do to help.

Will you write a short message to Jerry and the other prisoners on this online message board right now? My friends at Americans for Safe Access (ASA), the nation’s leading medical cannabis patients’ advocacy organization, will share your comments with those behind bars.

Your comments mean the world to someone unjustly convicted and jailed for medical cannabis. Take a minute to write a short note, it means so much. You will feel great about it, and you will make someone’s day when they know you thought of them.

We must change federal law if we are going to stop putting people in jail for medical cannabis. ASA is fighting to do that for Jerry and the other prisoners by cutting off federal funding for medical cannabis enforcement, allowing a fir defense for people like Jerry in federal court, and changing federal law. Can you help get that important and compassionate work done? Make a contribution of any size today to help support ASA’s federal medical cannabis work when you write a comment for the prisoners of war.

Thank you for sending a message to Jerry and the other prisoners. It means the world to them!

All the best,
