Important Congressional MMJ Vote in Less Than 24 Hours, TAKE ACTION NOW!

Tell_Congress_pt2.jpgIf you have not taken part in ASA’s action alert to pass the Rohrabacher-Farr Amendment to the CJS Appropriations bill, we strongly encourage you to do so now. The vote is likely to take place Thursday morning, and we are within striking distance of winning this time. As part of our final push to passing the amendment, we have one more request.

We urge you now to reach out to at least five friends and family members to take the same action.  By multiplying our efforts, we can have a bigger impact, but we can be even more effective if you try to reach out to friends and family in states that have passed medical marijuana or CBD bills in 2014. These states are now directly impacted by the federal interference that the amendment can stop from happening. If you have friends or family in any of the following states, please reach out to them to take part in our action alert effort to pass the CJS amendment.

(Please note that ASA recognizes that many of the 2014 laws passed are largely unworkable for the vast majority of patients, but these laws are at odds with the federal policy on marijuana, and therefore are related to the Rohrabacher-Farr Amendment.)
