Wyoming's HB 32, which took effect in July 2015, establishes a registration process which allows a neurologist to recommend CBD cannabis extracts to a patient suffering from intractable epilepsy or seizure disorders. Minors are eligible for registry through a parent or legal guardian. Neurologists are required to monitor a registered patient’s response to "hemp extracts" and transmit that information to the registry. This information is confidential. Registered patients are required to prove that the hemp extracts they possess meet the chemical requirements as prescribed by the law. The law does not create any provisions for the production or distribution of the cannabis extracts.
