The CARERS Act is the most comprehensive piece of federal medical marijuana legislation that has ever been introduced in both the U.S. House and Senate Introduced in the Senate by Senators Corey Booker (D-NJ), Rand Paul (R-KY), and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) and in the House by Representatives Steve Cohen (D-TN) and Don Young (R-AK), the bipartisan legislation would remedy the state-federal conflict over medical marijuana laws.

The bill would allow state programs to continue without federal inference, move marijuana out of Schedule I, remove CBD from the scheduling, create access to banking services for legal marijuana businesses, end the Public Health service review process and NIDA monopoly that blocks research, and allow VA doctors to write recommendations in states that have a medical marijuana program.

For the first time ever, we have comprehensive medical marijuana legislation in both the U.S. House and Senate.  Sign the Petition below to urge your senators and representative to protect safe access and patients right by signing onto the CARERS Act.

Those elected officials that keep screwing over the common man for Corporate GREED, as in our Cannabis Laws, will not get my vote.

The first step to enlightenment is opening your eyes. Kudos to Sen. Graham on this issue. Another step foward.

First thing – decriminolize cannabis then let the public health authorities deal with all the medical issues.

Currently in Illinois there is only a limited implementation of the medical marijuana program due to a republican governor not fulfilling his duties under the program! We need recreational marijuana in Illinois and the U.S.A. In general. We are suffering severe pain with no access to medical marijuana because governor will not expand program! We are being forced to go to the black market for access!

I think it is time to face the fact that marijuana has far more going for as to against it.
