What You Will Learn

This week-long in-person training will be taught using a combination of lecture and hands on exercises to provide a professional credential for regulators and business professionals working in the cannabis industry. During this training, you will receive a detailed overview of Cannabis as medicine including a history of Cannabis in the U.S., best security practices for cannabis businesses, and the human body’s endocannabinoid system. Additionally, this course will cover PFC’s National Cannabis Standards in the areas of Cultivation and Processing; Manufacturing, Packaging, Labeling and Holding; Distribution (Dispensing); and Laboratory Operations as well as pesticide use guidance, sustainability considerations, QC/QA & representative sampling protocols, and preparation for internal and external audits.
