On Wednesday, April 30th, Congress voted on an amendment to HR 4486 - Military Construction and Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2015 introduced by Representative Blumenauer. Rep. Blumenauer's amendment, the "Veterans Equal Access Amendment", would have allowed Veterans Administration physicians to recommend medical cannabis to qualified patients in states where it is legal.
