A local group called Americans for Safe Access held a small rally outside the Eugene Federal Courthouse Thursday.

The group says President Obama hasn't followed through with his goal of legalizing medical marijuana.

Members say Obama sanctioned medical cannabis programs and now they feel targeted by the government.

"We're easy targets. We're not trying to run. We're not trying to hide. We're out in the open saying this is what we want, and that states that have it we've voted for it and so we believe it's our right to now have it," said medical marijuana patient Eric Chavez.

Protesters say they just want to hold Obama accountable.
