Sheriff's investigator to discuss medical marijuana

A member of the Riverside County sheriff's Narcotics Task Force will speak to the public next month in Cathedral City about medical marijuana, officials with the Marijuana Anti-Prohibition Project announced.

The speaker, Lt. Charles Wilhite, supervises the task force, officials said.

Wilhite is supposed to talk about the medical marijuana ID card, possession limits, transportation of marijuana, cultivations, coops and collectives.

Questions from the audience will also be taken, officials said.

The event will be held Sunday, March 12 at 3 p.m. at the Cathedral City Library, 33-520 Date Palm Drive.

It is open to the public.
