The Legal Services Coordinator takes live calls every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 6pm at (510) 251-1856 x304; you can leave a voicemail 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  In addition, you can reach her any time at legalsupport@safeaccessnow.org.

When contacting ASA, please have the following information available, if at all possible:

Criminal/Law Enforcement Encounter
  • Your next court date
  • How much MMJ confiscated
  • Charges
  • County in which incident took place
  • Law Enforcement Agency involved
  • Date of incident
Civil
  • Date and type of your next court date
  • Type of issue (Employment, Child Custody, Housing, Other)
  • Date and nature of first negative interaction with decisionmaker (employer/landlord/CPS worker), and include the full name
  • What has happened since the first interaction
  • Note any papers that have been filed by you or the opposing party, and any judicial decisions
  • County in which incident took place

Please note your legal inquiry will be placed in a queue, so it may be a few days before you receive a response.
